This page explains how to tell us that something on our service infringes your copyright, and what happens next.
1What we host
Server owners can upload their own DayZ mods to our storage. Our launcher then downloads those mods for the players of that server. We do not review uploads in advance.
Before every upload the person uploading confirms that they made the mod or that its author allowed them to share it. Our Terms of Service forbid uploading mods republished without permission.
2How to send a notice
Use the form below, or write to privacy@dz.arbat16.com with the same details:
- the work you own, for example a link to your mod on the Steam Workshop
- where the copy is on our service: the mod name and, if you know it, the server or launcher page where you saw it
- your name and how to reach you
- a statement that you believe in good faith that this use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner
- your physical or electronic signature, a typed full name is enough
3What we do
When a notice is complete, we remove the mod from our storage, so our launcher stops serving it, and we tell the organisation that uploaded it why. We do not ask you to prove anything beyond what the notice already says.
If a notice is missing something we need to find the copy, we write back and ask.
4If your mod was removed by mistake
Write to the same address. Name the mod, explain why you have the right to share it (you are the author, or attach the author's permission), and give your name and contact details. If the explanation holds, we tell the person who sent the notice and restore the mod unless they show us they have taken the matter to court.
5Repeat infringement
An organisation whose uploads are removed again and again loses the ability to upload mods, and may lose its account.
